I came across this website when looking up information for an induction coil (Ruhmkorff type) that we have. Its full of photos and info on the various physics demonstration devices that were made in the early days of electrical discovery. It even has a 'perpetual motion' machine that worked for about 100 years !        Thought you might be interested

This is a great "lab manual" for forensic tests that actually has recipes for the chemicals used

  pages 10-12 have the links to the tests (though some obviously not suitable for schools). There is also a section on report writing that may be useful
